In 2015, after talking with some neighbours and friends, I have decided to sign a petition to request a safer crossing at the Daglish train station.  My eldest child is crossing the intersection everyday to reach the bike path to cycle to school.

Doorknocking, going to local school, hospital and market, I managed not only to have the signed support of numerous people but more importantly I have met a core group of parents that were ready to invest themselves along my side to lobby for the crossing.  It was a unique human experience. We were all so different and yet our combined strengths allowed this project to come true. I was thrilled by the success of the outcome. I felt enriched by this human experience and by the service to the broader community I have managed to pull through!
